Creamy Linguine

Hello all!
We have a great dinner for you today!  This is a creamy linguine, kinda like Alfredo sauce but with a few differences.  We think you will enjoy this dinner because it not only is very easy to make, it also is a quick dish to make!  A nice warm pasta dish with some Spinach and Bacon, you can't go wrong!
Below is the info on this great dish we hope you try it out!

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time:
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:
1 LB Linguine
1/2 Pound of Bacon, cooked and diced.
5-6 Cups of Baby Spinach
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/4 Cups Milk
1 (8 oz) Package of Cream Cheese, warmed.
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Table Spoons of Olive Oil.
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Pinch of Nutmeg. We said Paprika but its Nutmeg!

Directions:
Cook the linguine in a pot, add some salt and oil to help with the process and to keep the pasta from sticking together.
On a cooking sheet place tin foil down, then place about 1/2 pound of bacon strips down.  Cook at 400 degrees until done.
In a sauce pan heat up the olive oil, onions and spinach.
Cook and stir around on medium to high heat till the spinach cooks down.
Add the milk, cream cheese, butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Stir and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes. So the sauce can thicken.
Add about a spoonful of pasta to the cream sauce till you feel comfortable at the mixture.
Take out the pasta and serve on a plate, with a nice salad!  Or Bread sticks, but don't burn them like we did.

Here is the result.

The dish came out really well and we enjoyed it very much.  There are so many fun pasta dishes out there but we do hope you try this one.  It really wasn't that hard to make and didn't cost much at all for the ingredients.  This dish wasn't has heavy as an Alfredo sauce but still has a great creamy texture and very flavorful taste.
