Tangy Chicken Wings

With Fall now in full swing we thought it would be a great start to show you an appetizer that taste great and is easy to make!  Since we made some great fried chicken wings we wanted to show you that oven baked wings can turn out just as amazing!  This also is a great time to start cooking with our ovens per its cooling down.  When it gets colder out sometimes frying outside can get difficult plus cooking foods in all different techniques is fun and gives you a different taste for that food.

We think you will enjoy this appetizer, you just simply mix and cook!  No going outside to fry or worry about oil either.  Below is the recipe for this dish along with some changes as well and alterations so be sure to check them out!

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 40 Minutes
Total Time: 45 Minutes

Serves 8

Ingredients:
12-15 Chicken Wings thawed and cleaned.
1 Package of dry French onion mix
2 Table Spoons Spicy mustard
1/3 Cup Honey
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Make sure the wings are fully thawed rinsed and dried.
Salt and Pepper the wings and let sit
In a small bowl mix the french onion mix, mustard and honey together.
Place the wings in a larger bowl place the wings.
Drizzle the sauce over the wings and mix.
Place the wings on a pan that has tin foil on it.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
Flip them around 20 minutes.

Alteration:  You take the wings and cook them for 20 minutes first without the sauce mixed on them.  Then take them out and sauce them, finish cooking them for the rest of the 20 minutes.  Below we will explain the difference so be sure to check that out!

The video is directly below so please check that out for step by step instructions!  The wings came out great, there only a few so the whole team didn't get to have them but chef tried!  The blog/social medial department did and they were amazing!  They had a crispy texture with a sweet and tangy taste.  Something new and different.  A lot of the times you get the same kinds of wings, but this was different.  It was refreshing to try something new!

For the alteration, chef said if you sauce the wings then cook them for 40 minutes like the video shows.  They will have a great taste but will have a more harden shell.  If you cook the wings naked then sauce them 20 minutes in, the sauce won't cook as along so the texture will be different.  Try both ways or cook 1/2 one way 1/2 another and see the difference!

We really hope you enjoyed the video and post!  The wings were a great unique idea and makes great for that fall football season!  Also again if you don't have a fryer this works perfectly!  Oven baked wings taste amazing and will be a bit healthier.  We encourage you to always try new ideas and routs to your end result!  Thank you so much again for stopping by we hope you come again!

Remember,

Cooking should be FUN, so have FUN doing it!
