Happy Halloween!|BLT-T Dip

Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a great past weekend as well as today being Halloween!  Today we have a dip right from Chef himself.  This is a BLT-T Dip.  Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Turkey.  A fun new dip we think you would love and is different.  Chef told us making a new dip can be difficult just because of how many there are and how many amazing ones at that.  However he thought it was a great idea to have a dip for our video because everyone likes to bring apostatizes for Halloween parties.  Chef did say to make this after the holiday as well!  It makes an all around amazing dip so don't contain it to just this season!

Serves 6-10

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Total Time: 40 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Pound of Ground Turkey
1 Pound of Bacon
1 Cup chopped green onions mixing
1 1/2 Cups of sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 Cup chopped green onion for garnish
1 Chopped Tomato (beef steak works great)
1/4 Cup Mayo (Optional)
1 Package of cream cheese (8 ounces)
1 Cup Sour Cream for mixing
1/4 Cup for garnish
1/2 Shredded lettuce
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
Pinch of Garlic powder

Place your bacon strips on a cooking sheet over tin foil and cook at 350 degrees until fully cooked.
While the bacon is cooking cook up the ground turkey, season the turkey with salt, pepper and garlic power.
After the bacon is cooked remove and let cool.  (place in freezer for faster results)
Chop up the green onions and tomato and shred the lettuce.
In a large bowl mix the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream and the cooked ground turkey.  Mix well.
Break up the now cooled bacon and add almost all of it.  Leave some for garnishment.
Add the the 1 cup of chopped onions, sharp cheddar cheese and almost all the tomato.  Leave some tomato for garnishment.
Once fully mixed add to a shallow pie dish or other shallow dish.
Cook at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Remove and garnish with the shredded lettuce, and left over bacon, green onions, and tomato.
Place a dollop of cream cheese in the middle.

Serve hot, with a good dipping chip!

We hope everyone enjoyed this post and recipe.  It is a new take on a classic dip and we think you really will enjoy it!  The dish was empty on our end so it was a hit!  The staff and other friends who tried it really enjoyed it because it was different and a lot of the time people bring the same kinds of dips but this one is just a bit different.  Please check out our video below to see how it was made.

With Halloween here we do hope you have a safe night but enjoy it!  This is a great time to be spooky and just have fun with it.  Again a different kind of dip but try it out.  We think this different style will leave your guest wanting the recipe!

Have a safe and spooky Halloween!
