We have a great breakfast for you! This dish was actually found and Chef wanted to share it with you all! Breakfast Roll Up's! When It comes to breakfast you can go quick and easy or longer and complex however something in the middle is perfect for the weekends with the kids or during the week if you give it a bit more time. We have shared a few ideas now for breakfast and really enjoy this one!
This one actually comes straight from Pillsbury them selves. Chef really thought that this idea was just perfect the way it was however wanted to give credit where it was due! So we thank them for sharing this idea to begin with. If you have a little extra time and want to impress your family then check out this easy fun idea...
Serves: 8
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Container of Pillsbury Buttery Crescent Dinner Rolls
3 Eggs
2 Table Spoons Milk
8 Precooked Sausage Links
2 Long thin slices of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
Maple Syrup
Directions:
In a small frying pan heat up the precooked sausage links, then set aside.
Scramble up your 3 eggs in a mixing bowl and add the milk.
Remove about 2-3 tablespoons of the egg mixture for later.
Cook up the scrambled eggs to your liking.
Add Salt and Pepper
Open up, roll out, then detach the dinner rolls
Cut the sharp cheese in half, then diagonally.
Place one piece of cheese corresponding to the dinner roll, make them line up.
Place a tablespoon of the cooked eggs on the cheese.
Place one sausage link on the egg.
Gently roll up the dinner roll starting from where the cheese, egg and sausage is based.
Place on a cooking sheet tray.
Repeat till try is full.
Glaze the tops with the egg wash you placed aside.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Heat up the over to 350 Degrees F.
Place them in the oven for about 15 minutes or golden brown.
Take out and pate up.
Have a side of maple syrup for dipping!
Serve up hot!
