Steak Bites

 Hey all!

It is fall season and we think you will really enjoy this fun dish!  It can be an appetizer or meal! Cooking steak is fun on its own but why not cut it up into fun bite sized pieces and try something new!  This dish came out so wonderful we absolutely loved it!   This dish also is Gluten free as long as the seasonings you use are!  So try this out as a dinner or app at your next party!  Check out below how we pulled this one off!  This dish is also Gluten Free if you check to make sure the seasonings are you used!

Prep Time: 40 Minutes
Cook Time: 10
Total Time:

Serves- 6-8 (Depending how many steaks you buy)

Ingredients: Steak- 1 steak per person we used NY Strip USDA Choice (Middle of the road, BUY FRESH STEAKS) 2 Tablespoons of canola oil 2 tablespoons minced garlic or 4 cloves Steak Rub- we bought ours to save time however below is a generic steak rub! Steak Dry Rub 3 Tablespoons Salt 3 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika 2 Tablespoons Onion Powder 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder 2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano 2 Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper 1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin Mix all together.

Directions: Buy FRESH strip steaks, as many as you have people. (We used 4 for the vid) Season all the steaks front and back with salt. (You can use pepper/AP rub as well if you want.) Let the steaks sit for about 30 minutes so they can warm up a bit and the salt can extract some of the moisture. After 30 Minutes trim all the fat off the steaks Cut the steaks in to bit sized pieces, about quarter inch sized pieces. Place the steak pieces in a large bow and coat in a rib rub. Either the one above or any you like! Toss the steak bites in the rub coating them all. Heat up your cast iron pan. (Or cooking pan if you don't have cast iron.) Add Canola oil and let the oil get nice and hot. Once hot place the steak bites on the pan/oil and let sear. You wan the pan hot so you sear the steak bites Flip the steak bites after about a minute, or so. After another minute or so remove the steak bites. (Depending how you like your steak cooked. Leave them on longer if you like them med to well done.) Leave all the oil/grizzle in the cast iron and add butter. Once the butter is melted add the garlic. Add the steak bites back in to the pan. Move the steak bites around and baste them in the butter garlic mix. After basting for a minute or so take them out and plate them up. Add some chopped up parsley over top and a spoonful or two of the basting oil from the pan. Serve up with tooth picks as an app or eat for

Here they are!

We do think you will enjoy this dish, they came out really good. Great flavor, the steak cut so well and the meat just melted in our mouths. This dish surprised us all! Below is the video on how we put it all together so be sure to check that out!

We do hope you enjoyed the video and try this one out! Steaks alone are so good but try cutting one or two up and doing this. You also will be the hit at any party if you serve this as an app! This dish is Gluten free if you check the seasonings to make sure they are! It is a win win! Thanks everyone for joining us and we do hope you try this along with other dishes we have made!

Crispy Potato Stacks

Hey all!
Today we have a great fall side dish!  Crispy Potato Stacks.  We found this from Byron Talbot who we follow on YouTube.  We really enjoy his videos and dishes he makes.  Chef wanted to make this video for a while now and finally did it.  He has to admit it was so simple too!  It is one of those ideas that looks so complex but is not at all.  We do hope you check out the blog post to see the full recipe and check out Bryon as well!  This side dish is Gluten Free too.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:
Russet Potatoes
Salt
Frying Oil

Directions:
Pour your cooking oil in a pan and heat up to 350 degrees.
Set your mandolin to a very fine or thin setting.  If you don't own one you can use a knife. Be careful with either one.
Slide the potato making slices and keep going until you are almost all the way through.  No ER Visits please!
Then throw out the top and bottom few slices.  You really only need the middle.  Put the stacks back together making it look like the potato again.
Cut the all four sides of the potato removing the skin and squaring off the potato.
Cut it down the middle and place aside.
Do not place in water.  Water will wash the starch off and then they will fall apart in the oil.
Slowly place the squares in the oil slowly and let cook.  Move them around a bit so they don't stick and monitor.
After about 5 minutes check and remove if golden brown.
Then season with salt and plate up with ketchup.

Here they are!

They came out really well we will add.  Chef was nervous at first but they did hold and tasted so good.  The crunch outside and soft inside.  They also looked really fun and different.  These would go good with a steak or other disk like that.  Check out the video of Chef making this below to see how easy it was!

As you can see it really was simple.  Chef has wanted to try this since he saw it on Byron's channel.  He was nervous at first but then after trying it found they wee so simple to make!  He said he will make these again for sure.  A special shout out to Bryon Talbot for this creative idea!  His links are below so be sure to check those out!  The other cool thing is you can even make these as an appetizer!  We just listed them as sides.  The past few videos we have made have only had a few key ingredients and by far they have been so fun to make!  We can't wait for our next one.  Fall time is one of our favorites!  We hope you are all having a fun and spooky October!

Breakfast Pizza

Hello all,
So fall is here and we are so excited!  We wanted to make a breakfast pizza!  How many times have you ordered breakfast pizza.  Well we wanted to see how easy it is to make and if we can save you some time and money!  We actually found this was easier than we thought and really you can add any toppings you want!  Be creative and have fun with this.  One of the best things we found was we made this at night and had so much fun.  Everyone loves breakfast for dinner so why not!  We do hope you try this out.

Prep Time: 25 Minutes  (Depends on ingredients)
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 35 Minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:
Cooking Spray or Melted Butter
1 Roll out Pizza Crust-Store bought
9 Eggs
6 Links of Sausage
6-8 Bacon Strips
1/2 Onion Chopped
1/2 Pepper Chopped
2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Cooking Spray or melted butter

Directions:
Start your bacon first since it takes the most time, we use our small oven we have.  You need your bacon to be very crispy and this takes time.  Also you have to let it cool to break up as well.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Spray or butter a cooking sheet pan.
Spread the pizza crust out on the pan and then butter/spray the top.
Place in the oven for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
While the crust is cooking prep other toppings.
Cook your scrambled eggs, cut up any veggies and heat the sausage as well.
When all the toppings are done and your crust is removed you can start.
Place the egg down first, then add the cheese, then you can top either the entire pizza or do half.
We then advise to put a little cheese on top to melt the ingredients down with.
Put the pizza back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Take out and cut up!

Here it is!

We hope do hope you enjoyed this however the video is below and we encourage you to watch that to see how we put it all together.  The team will make this again for sure just based off how easy and fun it was.  We also want to try other toppings like onions or ham!  You can do all different ideas and have fun in the process.  Please see the video below to get a good idea of how we made this.

We do hop you enjoyed this video and post.  This really was a fun dish to make and came out so much better than we thought.  We also made it pretty simple to put together with easy ingredients.  We hope you enjoyed this post.  We also hope everyone is having a great fall season getting into the Halloween spirit!  We love fall and making videos this time of year.  Thank you all again for the love and support.

Extra Crispy Chicken Wings | Binging with Babbish

Hello all,
Today we wanted to do a video on a you tuber who comes from our area!  Andrew Rea has a great and amazing cooking show where he makes dishes from movies, TV shows and other places.  He was just on Hot Wings not to long ago and made the wings for it.  So we wanted to give his crispy recipe a try!  We never made wings like this before but were very interested and excited to try something new!  Maybe one day if he comes home for a visit we can do a video together.  These wings are cooked at a low temperature, then rest then cooked again at a higher temp.  These are gluten free also! Check out this cool and unique way to make some really extra crispy wings!

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes 1 Day resting in between.
Serves: 6-8

Ingredients:
Fresh Chicken Wing
Oil
Celery
Blue Cheese

Directions:
Take your fresh chicken wings out and season each side with salt.  Let them warm up a bit and let the salt extract some of the moisture out.
Turn the oil up to 225 degrees and place your wings in.  Let cook for about 20 minutes.
Take out and drain, then refrigerate for 24 hours.
Take them out and again let warm up.
Fry at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

Here they are!

They came out really crispy!  We will advise they weren't as juicy as other wings we made but the crispy factor was off the chart.  We also wanted to point out they were not breaded.  We did enjoy making these however.  The lower temp frying then letting them sit was something we never did.  It was really interesting.  Please check out however the video below to see how we put these together!

We do hope you enjoyed this blog and thank you Andrew for this great crispy take on wings!  Over all it wasn't hard to make just different.  We did give his information below so be sure to check that out!  We always love making chicken wings, they are fun to make and new ideas always get our interest so this was an awesome video.  Thank you all again check out Andrews information below!

Bacon Pinwheels

Hello all,
Fall is here and we have such an amazing dish for you all!  This fun appetizer is so simple to make and taste great!  The fun thing about this is you can really make whatever kinds you want substituting whatever ingredients you want!  We just made this to what we wanted.  Feel free to add or remove what ever you like!  Check out how to make this great appetizer below.

Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients: 3 Ounces Cream Cheese (Room Temp) 2 Tablespoons of chopped Onions 1 Teaspoon Milk 5 Strips of bacon, cooked crispy then chopped up 1 Tube Crescent Rolls

Directions:
Cook your bacon till its crispy then let cook. After break up into small pieces and set aside.
While the bacon is cooking let your cream cheese sit out and warm up a bit to make it easier to mix.
In a large bowl mix the warmed cream cheese, milk and chopped onions.
Spread out the tube of crescent rolls on a cutting board
Press the perforated sections together making it all one piece.
Spread the cream cheese mixture out till its close to the edge.
Sprinkle the bacon over top.
Roll the crescent roll up tight and then cut it about 1/4 ince pieces.
Place the pieces so they are laying down. Put them spaced out evenly on a sprayed cooking sheet.
Have your oven set to 475 degrees.
Let them cook for about 10 Minutes.
Remove and plate up!

Here they are!

They really came out wonderful and one of the best parts is cream cheese has a high heat tolerance so it doesn't melt fast or ruin the appetizer.  Again you can however add or put your own ingredients in this appetizer and make it creative to your liking.  Below is our video and how we made it.  Check it out, it is so simple!

We hope you enjoyed this post!  Try it out, it is so simple too.  This makes for such a fun fall appetizer or something to have at a game if you are watching it with friends!  Thank you all again for all the support and be sure to stay tuned for more great ideas to come!

How To Make Ice Cream

Hello all!
So Chef's wife told him if he doesn't use the Ice Cream Maker in the basement by this year she is gonna toss it!  So guess what we did.  We made Ice Cream!  We were very surprised how easy and fun it was!  Chef said he never made it because he was afraid it was be header than it was.  Besides chilling the one unit part it really was just some mixing and then turn it on!  This was again top easier dishes we made.  Now granted Vanilla is one of the easier flavors.  However we really enjoyed it.  The vanilla we made was also Gluten Free!  However other flavors may not be so be advised.

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 45
Total Time: 1 Hr

Serves: 6-8 Medium bowls

Ingredients: 1 Cup Whole Milk 3/4 Cup Sugar 2 Cups Heavy Cream 1 -2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract Pinch of Salt-Optional

Directions:
In a medium bowl add all the ingredients:
Milk, sugar, heavy cream, Vanilla and salt.
Mix well and cover then put in the fridge.
Make sure your cooling unit that goes inside is frozen also.
Take your ingredients and pour them into the machine.
Turn it on and check it every so often.
Remove the ice cream and put it in a container and freeze again.
You can serve up right away however!

Here it is!

We really enjoyed this dish and made it over the summer.  Again Chef was so suprised how simple it was and how much fun he had.  He wants to note you can add ingredients like chocolate chips or peanut butter cups as it is almost done churning.  However the entire process was simple and we made many more batches since this video.  Check out the video below to see how we made it step by step.

Thank you again everyone and we do hope if you see an ice cream maker on sale to get one!  They aren't expensive and Chef got this one years ago.  It was just collecting dust!  So if you see one on sale pick one up.  We think you will really enjoy making it.  Thank you all again and hope everyone had a great summer!

Glazed Pork Chops

Hello all,
Pork chops can be a difficult dish to make.  Many people might find them dry.  However we have a recipe we think you will really enjoy.

Serves:  1-2 (or how many chops you buy)
Prep Time:
Cook Time:
Total Time:

Ingredients:
2 Bone-In Pork Chops
2 Table Spoons Butter
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
1 Table Spoon Cornstarch
1 Table Spoon Water
Brown Sugar
Fine salt/pepper
Course AP rub.  Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Onion Powder

Direction:
Pick up some fresh Pork chops
Salt and Pepper each side and let sit out a bit to warm up (20 Minutes)
After about 20 Minutes put more coarse AP rub on.
Dredge each cop in flour coating the entire chop.
Heat up a cast iron skillet and add the butter.
Once the butter is melted put the chops in.
After several minutes and the sides of the chops start to color, flip them once.
After several more do a quick temp check.  You want them above 145 internal.
Remove the cops and add the vinegar, maple syrup and cover for a bit.
Add the cornstarch and mix well.
As that sits on medium heat.  Add some brown sugar to your chops and have your oven set to broil.
Place the chops in the over, set to broil.
Remove after a few minutes.
With a spoon just add some of the glaze on top and serve up!

Here it is!

We really enjoyed this dish because they came out with a lot of flavor and were not dry at all.  The chops were very easy to cut and there wasn't anything left but the bone!  A potato and vegetable go great with this dish.  Be sure to watch our video on this to see how we put it all together.

We will advise one thing, start the glaze as the chops go in the oven.  We started our glaze to early and we feel it cooked to long.  Other than that you can even try other glazes.  The way we cooked the chops really was the start of them.  What you put on next is really up to you!    We do hope you enjoyed this dish and try it out.

Thank you all for joining us again.

Sweet Potato Fries

Hello all!
We wanted to share with you our fun take on Sweet Potato Fries!  Now there are a lot of ways to make this and many of them are oven baked.  However we wanted to show you the fired take!  Sweet potato fries are healthy and have a great taste.  Even if you fry them the sweet potato has so many vitamins and minerals.  This side dish also is so simple to make, especially if you have a fry cutter.  Something we suggest you invest in.  They aren't expensive and really come in handy.  They came out crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.  They are also Gluten Free!  Check out this post and see how simple it is to make the classic Sweet Potato Fry!

Prep Time: 1 Hour (Mos of this is per soaking in water to remove starch)
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Serves: 6-8 Depending how many potatoes you use

Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes Canola Oil Honey

Directions:
Peal and cut the sweet potatoes
Use a fry cutter or knife to make the fries of you size
Place them in water up to an hour
Take out and fully dry
Heat up oil to 280-300 Degrees
Place fries in and let cook for 3-4 Minutes to Blanch the fries
Take out and heat oil up to 350 degrees and now cook them between 5-8 minutes.
Remove and plate up!

Here they are!

They really came out great and had that amazing crunch to them.  Sweet potato fries also don't need salt like normal fries because of there sweet taste making them a bit more healthy in that aspect.  However we still love normal fries too!  The honey is such a great dipping sauce as well.  Try to pick up some pure farmers made honey if you can!  Down below is our video on how we put this all together so be sure to check that out too!

Thank you again for checking this dish out.  We do hope you try it out and feel you will like it!  If you are wondering we cooked the fries in lower oil to blanch them.  Then you raise the temp and cook them in hotter oil.  This is a tick a lot of chefs use.  Try it out!  We think it makes a difference.
Thank you all again for the support and hope you are enjoying these videos and post!

Almond Chicken

Hello all!
Looking for a new and healthy dinner?  This almond chicken dish is a wonderful and simple meal you can put together!  Chef took out some of the ingredients for coating a chicken with some new healthier ones!  Almonds also are so healthy and a super food!  We liked how creative this dish was and some of the ingredients we used.  Ones you don't always use in a dinner, we weren't sure how this would come out but it really was wonderful.  A light dish paired with a potato and vegetable makes for a wonderful meal.  Check out below how to see how we did this!  Chef used Gluten Free Bread crumbs for dish also making it Gluten Free!

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Total Time: 45 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Yogurt
1/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
1 Cup Bread Crumbs (We used Gluten Free)
1/2 Cup Sliced and then crushed Almonds
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
4-6 Thin Sliced Chicken Breast

Directions:
Take the check out and salt and pepper both sides letting it sit out while you continue to prep.
In a dredging pan Mix the yogurt and mustard together
In a separate dredging pan mix the bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
Dredge the chicken in the mustard and yogurt mix then move them to the other pan and coat.
Coat them in the bread crumbs well.
Place on a pan and cook at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Plate up after!

Here it is!

This dish was light and very enjoyable.  There was a lot of flavor and it was simple enough to make.  The gluten free bread crumbs were good and didn't change the dish at all.  You can use regular bread crumbs however if you want.  With a little bit of prepping the dish is really easy.  Most of the time is done cooking in the oven.  Be sure to check out our video below to see how we put this together!

We hoped you enjoyed this post and video!  We know people are looking for fun and new ideas for cooking dinners and we hope this helped.  We wanted to share a fun way to prepare a healthy dish we think you will really enjoy!  Thanks again for joining us today and we hope you do try this out!

Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Package of pitted dates 2 or 3 Sausages the sausage removed from skin Pinch of Salt Pinch of Pepper Pinch of Garlic Powder Bacon cut in halves

Directions: First make a small cut in each date, do not cut the date all the way through.

Take a small pinch of seasoned meat and fill the date.
Cut the bacon in half.

Gluten Free Pancakes

Hey all,
We wanted to dedicate this post and video to Chef's Aunt Ro.  She was such a big part in his life and he wanted to do something for her after she passed.  She passed away just before the holidays in 2018 and although it was sudden family and friends did have time to see her.  She loved Chefs cooking and gave him many tips and tricks along the way that he still uses to this day.  Many years ago she found out she had Celiac which means she can't have Gluten at all.  She did however overcome this difficult challenge and still love life.  She never let it bring her down.  She always saw the upside to things and would always move forward.  She enjoyed showing Chef different ideas for Gluten free dishes and it inspired him way back to make a Gluten Free Play list!  There are many people who can't have Gluten and he wanted to help them out as well by showing them there are great meals you can enjoy without gluten.

Aunt Ro loved breakfast and would often take Chef, other family and friends out to enjoy a meal and conversation.  She loved pancakes as well and this is why we decided to make this video for her.  This recipe isn't difficult and we did use the box however our site isn't about how hard it is to make meals its that cooking should be fun and there are easy and quick tips you can use!  So we are cooking them out of a box however the brand we used turned out to be her favorite.  We hope you enjoy this post and video and as a team we really enjoyed these.

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes

Ingredients: Box of Gluten Free Pancakes 2 Eggs 6 Tablespoons Butter 2 Cups Milk

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
Put in fridge for about 10 minutes to let stand
Greased pan pour a ladle full and let cook
Once you see bubbles flip and let cook for another minute or so
Remove and add butter and syrup!

Here they are!

They actually came out really good.  Chef said that they were some of the best he ever had!  They had a great crust and fluffy inside to them making them so Delicious.  We know they were store boxed however one day we will make them from scratch.  We do however will say if you can not eat Gluten try these out!  You will enjoy them we feel!  Check out our video below to see how we made them and some fun pictures of Chef's Aunt.

Thank you so much again for stopping by we do hope you try this out.  Aunt Ro was such a big part of our family and Team.  She will be missed, however we will pass her fun stories and memories on.  Like in this video and post.  Thank you all for the love and support we got on this and remember...

Here they are!

We really think you will enjoy them and again the cook time can be a bit longer or faster depending on how much time you have and if you like using either high or low heat.  Slow cookers are such a great tool to have in the kitchen and can do so much.  Most of the dishes made from them are just set and watch.  The cooker does most of the work.  These came out amazing and check out the video below to see how we put these together!

Thank you again for joining us and we do hope you are enjoying our blog.  Our goal is to really just put dishes out there we think people will enjoy.  This meal is also Gluten Free so keep that in mind if you need a dish like that!  Just check the ingredients before hand some sauces can contain gluten.  Thank you all again for checking this post and video out and for all the support!

Venison Goulash

Hello all!
This dish a very popular dish however we mixed it up and used Venison.  You can use beef however so please keep that in mind.  Goulash is one of our favorite dishes.  It is very easy to make, it isn't expensive and its a hearty dish that is perfect for any time of year however the winter and cooler months are the best time!  Goulash is also one of those dishes that makes for great left overs.  We used venison to further our playlist however it does add a great and different flavor.  Venison is also a very lean meat.   Since deer eat in the wild there are no additives like some beef may have.  Be careful however some butchers add pork to the venison when grinding it to add some flavor so you are aware this could be.  Chef added a bit of pork to it just for that reason. Check out below and see how we made this wonderful meal!

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 1 Hour
Total Time: Little over an Hour
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients: 2 Lbs Ground Venison 1/2 Lb of Ground pork added but not required. 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Onion Chopped 2 Carrots Chopped 2 Celery Stalks Chopped 4 Cloves Minced Garlic 3 Cups Water 30 Ounces Tomato Sauce 29 Ounces Diced Tomatoes (Can be seasoned) Pinch of dried Oregano 2 Dried Bay Leaves Pinch of Salt Pinch of Pepper Pinch of AP Rub. (All purpose Seasoning) Pinch of Cayenne Pepper 2 Cups Elbow Macaroni Pasta, Uncooked

Directions:
Make sure your Venison (Or beef) is thawed.
We added some pork to our venison for flavor.
In a large cooking pot add a bit of oil and place the mean in the pan.  Cook on medium to High Heat
Use a chop and mix to slowly cook and brown the meat.
Add pinch of AP Rub and continue to cook
Add chopped celery, carrots, and onions.  Mix in and let cook.
Add Minced Garlic
Add salt and pepper
Add water and stir in
Add Tomato Sauce
Add Diced Tomatoes
Season with bay leaves and a pinch of Cayenne Pepper and Italian seasonings
Cover and bring the dish to a boil
Then lower the heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes
Add the Elbow Macaroni (uncooked)
Stir and continue to let cook for another  25 minutes with the lid on
Heat should be at medium
Stir the mixture every few minutes you will see it thicken up
After the Goulash is thick you can turn the heat off and serve up
Serve with bread and butter and garnish with parm cheeese.

Here it is!

This dish does take time to cook because there is a lot of simmering time however letting food simmer is simple.  All you do is check it and stir every so often.  The dish thickens up and you have this amazing hearty meal that you can eat the next day as well.  The mix of meat, vegetables and Pasta make such a favorable taste.  This is a hearty dish that has lots of healthy vitiamns and minerals that will keep your body fueled!  Below is the video on how we made it.  Check it out you will see how simple it is!

We want to thank everyone again for checking out this post and really hope you try this out.  This meal was very simple to make and can feed you and your family up fast!  This dish is great because you can make this on a weekend and still have leftovers for the next week!  We do hope you try this out.

Thank you all again and remember
